Dr Vedant Kabra

Dr Vedant Kabra is Head of the Department of Surgical Oncology at Manipal Hospitals, Delhi, with 28 years of overall experience, including 18 years as a specialist. He has performed more than 12,000 cancer surgeries over the course of his career.

He completed his MBBS and MS in General Surgery at Banaras Hindu University, followed by a DNB in General Surgery from the National Board of Examinations. He went on to complete a Research Fellowship in Surgical Oncology at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, and a Clinical Fellowship in Surgical Oncology at the National Cancer Centre, Singapore. He also holds MRCS (UK) qualification.

Dr Kabra has held senior leadership positions throughout his career, including Director of Surgical Oncology at Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurgaon, and Senior Cancer Surgeon roles at Max Hospital and National Cancer Hospital. Earlier in his career, he served as Senior Registrar and Senior Fellow at Tata Memorial Cancer Hospital, Mumbai.

He treats a wide range of cancers including cervical, gynaecological, head and neck, lung and breast cancers, along with sarcomas. He is a member of several professional bodies including the Indian Association of Surgical Oncology, the Association of Surgeons of India, and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
