Dr Aashish Chaudhry

Dr Aashish Chaudhry is Director and Head of Orthopaedics & Joint Replacement at Aakash Healthcare, New Delhi, with over 20 years of experience treating patients with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and other degenerative joint diseases. He has been recognised as one of the best orthopaedic surgeons in India by several institutions.

He specializes in partial knee replacement, total knee replacement (TKR) and total hip replacement (THR) using advanced surgical technology, and has developed proprietary joint replacement programs focused on precision and consistent functional outcomes. His broader areas of expertise include basic and complex trauma, and primary and revision arthroplasty.

Dr Chaudhry completed his MBBS at Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, and his MS in Orthopaedics at Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi. He holds an MRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons, Glasgow, UK, a Diploma from SICOT, Gothenburg, Sweden, and an AMPH in Healthcare Management from the Indian School of Business, Mohali. He also completed a one-year Surgical Leadership Program at Harvard Medical School (2024–2025).

Earlier in his career, he held positions including Senior Research Associate at ESI-PGIMSR and Associated Hospital, Consultant Orthopaedics at Holy Angels Hospital, Vasant Vihar, and completed senior residencies in Orthopaedics at Sushruta Trauma Centre and Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi. He is a member of the Medical Council of India, the Delhi Medical Council, and a Life Member of the Indian Orthopaedic Association, the Delhi Orthopaedic Association and the Uttaranchal Orthopaedic Association.
